The OPTIME gateway communicates with the sensors via the Wirepas Mesh network. One gateway can manage up to 70 OPTIME sensors. Several gateways can be combined in one installation. As a standard option, the gateway transmits the data to the Schaeffler cloud via a cellular connection, for which a SIM card is pre-installed. Optionally, this connection can also be established via WiFi or an ethernet connection for a LAN using the customer's network.
